Our school council comprises a democratically elected selection of children from Chameleon, Phoenix and Pegasus classes. We meet every term to discuss and develop ways that the school can be improved through the council’s own ideas and hard work. They sometimes have to give up some of their free time over break or lunchtime  to work on different projects. The school really appreciates the efforts that our councillors put in to support us all.

2025-26

The children have been working on developing the playtimes and ensuring things stay safe and fair.

We decided on some helpful posters to remind the children about different things about how to play and what to do if there are problems.

We are also working on the school being more sustainable. We want the children to make better use of the different sorts of bins inside and outside of our school. We are going on to work on monitoring the food waste at the end of lunch sittings and switching electrical devices off when not in use.
